Maze is introducing new plans and pricing. If your account is being transitioned, you’ll receive a notification email with all the details.

You won't lose access to your existing studies (i.e. mazes and interview studies) because of this change. However, depending on your plan, this may impact the number of studies you can launch in the future. What is a study?

We’ve been working to improve Maze and address changing research needs.

We're particularly excited to introduce new features to our Organization plan, including Interview Studies and Maze AI.

These help consolidate research activities in one research platform and drive better ROI on your product research. These upcoming changes reflect this.

FAQ

What is a study?

A study is a unit of research in Maze. In an unmoderated maze, a study refers to a maze that was set live. For interview studies, a study refers to an interview study with at least one session.

The plan you're subscribed to determines the number of studies you can set live. For example, under the monthly Starter plan, you have the ability to launch 1 maze per month, whereas on the Team plan you can set live 20 studies per year (this can happen all at once, or spread throughout the year).

Once studies are live, there are no constraints on the number of studies you can run concurrently.

What is a project?

Projects act like folders where you can add multiple studies. Creating a study inside a project turns it into an active project.

What is team management?

Team management allows you to assign different user roles based on team member responsibilities, giving you full control over your team's access and permissions.

This feature is available on the Starter, Team and Organization plans.

What is a collaborator?

A collaborator is someone you can invite to review and comment on a specific project without needing to add them as a team member.

This feature is available on the Team and Organization plans.

What is Maze Review?

Maze Review allows you to make comments and receive feedback on a maze. You can also review and approve blocks within the maze. It's a useful tool for teams working together on projects.

This feature is available on the Team and Organization plans.

Will I receive an invoice?

The team owner or an admin can download invoices/receipts from the billing area in the team settings. Please keep in mind that invoices aren't sent to your email automatically.

Exception: If you're on the Team or Organization plan and have billing-related questions, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or the Support team.

How do I cancel my plan?

You can cancel anytime.
