Maze supports the browsers listed below. Please note that these browser requirements apply to Maze, but there may be additional browser requirements for the design tool you used to build your prototype. Be sure to review their requirements, if browser support is important for your test.
Requirements
Browsers
Maze supports all modern web browsers on desktop and mobile devices for the tester experience on t.maze.co:
- Firefox
- Edge
- Chrome
- Safari
Internet Explorer (IE) is not supported for creating and editing mazes or using the application on app.maze.co. Figma also doesn't support IE, which means Figma-based mazes cannot be tested with Internet Explorer.
Plugins
Maze does not require that your testers install any plugins or apps. It all works natively within the browser.
Figma prototype requirements
If you have a prototype in Figma which has been imported into Maze, we utilize the Figma rendering engine, which means that browser support is handled by Figma.
To learn more, please see Figma's browser support article.
Known browser issues
Brave |
We are working on getting whitelisted to avoid issues with this browser. For now, testers will have to use another browser, or manually set maze.co as an approved website. You can read about how to do that in the Brave help center: How do I change site permissions? |
Safari |
When viewing Clips recordings, Safari can only preview recordings from tests that have been made in Safari. This happens because Clips recorded in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge are saved in .webm format, which Safari doesn't support.
