To open the workspace settings, open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.

Joining a private workspace
To join a private workspace, team members need to contact either the team owner, or an admin who is already a member of the workspace.
To find the list of members, click the ••• (Options) menu on the top right corner of the workspace.
Manage members
This is where you can view, add, and remove members of a private workspace.
Only owners and admins can add and remove people from workspaces. Learn more about workspace permissions
Adding people to a private workspace
The team owner, or an admin who's already a member of the workspace, can invite members to a private workspace.
To invite members to a private workspace:
- Open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.
- In the drop-down, click Manage members.
- Select the Members search box to see a list of all team members you can add. You can also search by the name of the member you want to invite.
- Select the names of the members you want to add to the workspace.
- Click the Add button once you’re done.
Removing people from a private workspace
To remove members from a private workspace:
- Open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.
- In the drop-down, click Manage members.
- Hover over the name of the member you want to remove in the list of members and click Remove.
Settings
This is where you can change the name of the workspace, edit its visibility settings, or delete it.
Only owners and admins can adjust workspace settings. Learn more about workspace permissions
Renaming a workspace
To rename a workspace:
- Open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.
- In the drop-down, click Settings.
- Under Rename, enter a unique new name for the workspace. The name shouldn’t exceed 30 characters.
- When you’re ready, click Save.
Changing workspace type
To change the workspace type:
- Open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.
- In the drop-down, click Settings.
- Click Change to update the preferred privacy settings for your workspace.
- Public: Anyone in your team can view the projects inside the workspace
- Private: Only invited members can view the project inside the workspace
- Type the name of the workspace, then click Confirm.
Deleting a workspace
Please note:
- Deleted workspaces can’t be restored. When you delete a workspace, all projects inside will be permanently deleted as well, unless you move them beforehand to a different workspace.
- The General workspace can't be deleted. It's the default public workspace that can be used as a collaborative space for your entire team.
- Only Owners and Admins in the organization can delete workspaces.
To delete a workspace:
- Open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.
- In the drop-down, click Settings.
- Click Delete.
- If there are projects inside the workspace, you’ll have the option to move them. If you don't move them, they'll be permanently deleted alongside the workspace.
- To confirm, click the Delete button.
Leaving a private workspace
To leave a private workspace:
- Open the relevant workspace and click the Settings () menu.
- In the drop-down, click Leave.
- Click Leave again to confirm.
To rejoin a private workspace after leaving, the team owner or an admin who's a member of the workspace must add you once again.
