Exporting a CSV from various tools to populate your Reach database

To get started with Reach, you need to import participants from other platforms such as Google Sheets, Notion, Mailchimp, or local spreadsheets such as Excel or Numbers.

This article lists some resources to help you export data from those tools, so you can then import those contacts into Maze.

If you don’t have a list of contacts yet, first you’ll need to manually source the emails and other relevant information. Learn more

Maze

If you’ve sourced your emails using Maze, follow the steps to download your maze data as a CSV file.

Google Sheets

To export a CSV from Google Sheets:

  1. Open the sheet that you want to export.
  2. Click File > Download > Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).

Excel

To export an Excel worksheet as a CSV in the desktop version of Excel in Office 365:

  1. Navigate to the specific worksheet you want to download.
  2. Go to File > Save As.
  3. Change the “File Format” drop-down from Excel Workbook (.xslx) to CSV UTF-8 (comma delimited) (.csv).
  4. Rename your file as necessary.
  5. Click Save.

HubSpot

If you have a list in HubSpot that contains testers you’d like to import, follow the steps to export your lists.

The Mailchimp tools allow you to customize and tailor your CSV export to exactly the audiences you want to use for testing.
