How do I change my email address in Maze if my account is linked to Google?

If you log in to Maze using a Google account, we link your Maze account to that Google account, and disable email changes and password reset emails.

If you’ve linked Maze and Google, there are a few additional steps before you can change your email address.

Solution

There are three steps to changing your email address if you’ve linked your Maze account to Google:

Step 1: Contact Maze Support to unlink your Maze and Google accounts

Contact Maze Support team from the email address in question, requesting that we disconnect your Maze and Google accounts.

Step 2: Login via email address and password

After the Support team unlinks your Maze account from Google, log in to your Maze account, using your email address and password.

If you haven’t previously logged in using this method, you’ll need to reset your password to do so.

Step 3: Update the email address

Once you have unlinked the Google account and logged into Maze using your email address and password, follow the instructions found here: Changing the email address on your Maze account
