If the card payment fails when purchasing an additional member seat for your team, you'll see the following error:
Payment failed: The seat wasn’t added because we couldn’t process the payment. Please review your credit card on file and try again.
This could happen because the credit card on file is expired or doesn't have enough funds, for instance.
When this error occurs, the new member isn't added to the team.
To clear this issue and add the new member, you'll need to solve the issue with your existing card (e.g. add more funds) or follow the steps in this article to add a new card.
Once you have a valid card, please try adding the team member again.
