How Search works
We use a combination of keyword + semantic search (AI-powered).
Keyword search matches the exact words in your query to content in your workspace. (ie: If you search for "onboarding issues," only content containing those specific words will display).
Semantic search (AI-powered) understands the meaning behind your query, not just the exact words. It finds conceptually related content even when different terminology is used. For example, searching "onboarding issues" will also surface content about "sign-up problems," "getting started difficulties," or "new user friction." Semantic search also accounts for typos and misspellings, so minor errors in your query won't prevent you from finding what you need.
How to use Filters
Filters can be accessed by clicking the Filters icon (far right) in the Search modal
- Type your keyword and select what you'd like to filter by:
- Some sources: Workspace, Project, Study
- Anytime: The time frame you'd like to filter by
- Anyone: The team member you'd like to filter by
- Check the box next to your filter of choice and click Apply
- If you need to clear any filters you've selected, click Clear all.
