When importing a Figma prototype for the first time, you'll see the following authorization screen:
Maze would like to access your account
Why is Maze asking for this data?
The Figma integration heavily depends on the options Figma makes available via its API.
The Figma API doesn't support granular scoped access. For this reason, you see the list of all resources.
To what degree does Maze access my data?
Maze doesn't fetch data about your team, project, users, comments, etc.
Maze only fetches the data from the Figma file that you explicitly import on Maze. Once imported, this metadata is stored and processed securely on our backend.
For additional context, these are the endpoints Maze interacts with the Figma REST API when you import a file into Maze:
Disconnect Maze from Figma
You can remove the Maze integration in your Connected Apps section in Figma. Learn more about account settings in the Figma documentation
