Organization plan customers have access to several filters that target panel participants by language. This includes primary language, language fluency, earliest language in life, and more.

With these filters selected, the maze is shared with participants who match the specified criteria. However, these filters don’t guarantee that participants will respond in the chosen language.
Here are some recommendations if you have specific language requirements for your participants:
Expect the native language of the selected country
Participants from a particular country tend to provide responses in that country’s native language, unless you specify otherwise. For example, participants in France are likely to reply in French, while those in the United Kingdom will usually do so in English.
Ask questions in the target language
For optimal results, frame your questions in the same language in which you expect the answers. For example, if you pose a question in Hindi, testers are more likely to respond in Hindi.
Maze automatically sets the language of the testing pages based on the participant’s browser preferences. If a tester uses their browser in Spanish, the test UI will automatically appear in Spanish. However, remember that our UI localization only covers the user interface itself. To match your desired language, you’ll need to translate the content of your mazes manually, as we don’t provide automatic content translation.

Explicitly ask participants to use the target language
You can also use Context Screens or a custom Welcome Screen to request that participants reply in a specific language.
In particular, this strategy can be helpful when you need replies in a language that isn’t the native language of the country you’ve selected. For example, if targeting participants in Germany but require responses in English.
