Create an interview study
Mazes (unmoderated) and interview studies (moderated) are complementary to each other during a research project.
Similarly to mazes, you can create interview studies from a project in Maze. You’ll see interview studies on a separate list on the project page. You can create as many interview studies as needed.
To create a new interview study:
- Open the relevant project.
- Inside the project page, click New study.
- Select Create an interview study.
- Add a name for your interview study and click Create.
Each interview study has four sections: Recruit, Sessions, Results, and Report. You can move back and forth in these steps using the navigation bar at the top.
- Recruit: Set up and distribute your recruitment link to schedule participants for interviews.
- Sessions: Manage your sessions and upload/store recordings and transcriptions.
- Results: Analyze highlights across interviews and summarize your insights.
- Report: View and share an auto-generated report with your stakeholders.
Set up recruitment links
The Recruit tab streamlines the participant scheduling process via a seamless calendar integration.
Create and distribute recruitment links, allowing participants to select their preferred session date and time based on your team's availability.
It guarantees efficient selection and scheduling of qualified participants while minimizing manual coordination.

Delete participant data

If you no longer need access to it, or have received a data subject request, you have the option to delete all data associated with a study.
