Maze Clips are the easiest way to capture short audio, video, and screen recordings of asynchronous user tests, without having to schedule and run live moderated research sessions.
This article walks you through some limitations you should be aware of.

Limitations
- Screen recording isn't supported on mobile devices. Learn more
- If your maze includes a live website test and has Clips with screen recording enabled, participants will be asked to share their entire screen, so that the recording can continue once they open the task on the website. Participants won't be able to continue if they only share the browser tab or window. Due to technical constraints, this check is only performed on Chrome and Safari. If testers use a different browser, such as Firefox, they won't be warned about sharing the entire screen, which may result in the website test not being visible.
- Transcripts of the recordings aren't currently supported. If you're on the Organization plan, there's a workaround using Maze Interview Studies.
